Value Line (Granite From $29/ft sq)-5 colors
Many companies will try to get you through the door with cheap gimmicks like "Granite From $29/ftsq". This is how competitors get you to walk through the door before alerting you to the fact that any modifcations to these prefabricated peices will certainly inflate price -sometime beyond that of picking your color of choice, and having the granite custom fit to your kitchen rather than have your kitchen fit the granite.. I'll let you in on the fact that everyone typically has the same costs, and if you dont have the same costs your not going to make less money by charging less when the mrkt typically sells stone for over $50/ft sq. Many have tried to play the volume game and those who do typically fail in light of cutting price 15%...The price elasticity of demand is just not worthwile and has proven detrimantal to many trying to play that game...trust me my family has been in the business for over 30 yrs. So how do they do it for $29/ft sq (what are you getting)...they cut corners that shouldnt be cut and order prefabricated stone manufactured in countries such as China. In rare instances, about 5% of the time, these pieces fit in a customers kitchen without modification, -in which case $29/ft sq granite is possible. On the other hand, 95% of the time, most people need to modify the prefabrcated pieces to conform to the customers kitchen, in which case $29/ft sq granite suddenly becomes $49/ft sq granite. Suddenly you are spending the same money for slapped together pieces which you were originally forced to settle on in light of savings with limited color choices, edges, bowl holes etc. Because we try to cater to everyone needs, we sell both types of products. Therefore we differentiate our product through our Efficiently fabricated counter line better known as our "Value Line" beginning at $29/ft sq (5 colors and 1 edge-typically for galley kitchens or stand alone island) and our "Custom Line" which is in line with market rates about $49/ft sq offering about 30 colors.
